{"id":392,"date":"2013-08-28T21:12:09","date_gmt":"2013-08-28T20:12:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hilltop-cottage.info\/blogs\/adam\/?p=392"},"modified":"2013-08-28T21:21:57","modified_gmt":"2013-08-28T20:21:57","slug":"change-wheel-calculator-for-warco-918-lathe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hilltop-cottage.info\/blogs\/adam\/change-wheel-calculator-for-warco-918-lathe\/","title":{"rendered":"Change Wheel Calculator for Warco 918 Lathe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here is a spreadsheet to calculate all the thread pitches possible on a Warco 918 lathe using the change wheel set provided with the machine :\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hilltop-cottage.info\/blogs\/adam\/wp-content\/\/2013\/08\/Warco-Change-Wheel-Calculator.xlsx\">XLSX (newer versions of Excel)<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hilltop-cottage.info\/blogs\/adam\/wp-content\/\/2013\/08\/Warco-Change-Wheel-Calculator.xls\">XLS (Excel 97 and 2003, also works in LibreOffice\/OpenOffice)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The cells are all locked except D4, which should be set to &#8220;y&#8221; or &#8220;n&#8221; depending on whether the 120\/127 tooth gearing will be in use (see the plate attached to the lathe).
